You may think you know why I wanted to homeschool you from Year 5 onwards, but I don’t think you know ALL of the reasons why, so here’s my first post to tell you all you need to know A and H! I hope you find it interesting.
Homeschooling Reasons
Here are my top five reasons why I really wanted to home school you.
Spend More Time Together
Well, I first had the idea to homeschool you because I don’t get enough time to spend with you. When you come home from school, that’s when I am the busiest, and so I miss out on teaching you, having fun and spending time with you.
I remember you both really enjoying yourselves and loving the day we went out on Eid day together, and you had so much fun. You kept reminding me it was the best day EVER! When I spend time with you, I mostly get to see your beautiful smiles, and I want to see more of those as we go on our homeschooling journey together.

Give You New Skills
When we start homeschooling, I expect there will be a few new things you will learn. I know how much you enjoy ice-skating, and I want to get a teacher to train you to become AMAZING at ice-skating. Why? Well, firstly, ice-skating is a SKILL, not many people are good at ice-skating, it takes a lot of effort and consistency to get better. I want you to understand that to become great at something, we need to work hard on it. Ice-skating is also FUN, and so I know you will enjoy yourselves doing this, and when you enjoy yourselves and get good at something, it gives you an amazing feeling, and that is what I want you to have the most – the feeling I have about you – that you are both AMAZING! I want you to grow in confidence, as I know you will do when you improve at something you enjoy, and that’s very important to me. It’s something that I think about a lot for you both.
Make You Superstar Helpers!
I know English is your favourite subject, but I want you to become amazing superstars in both English and Maths, as well as other subjects. This will help you so much to realise your potential and allow you to become whoever you want to be. When you grow up, I always pray that you become good adults who help others. In order to help others, we have to study hard and learn new skills so that we can then use those skills to help others in different ways. Can you imagine the skills that could help others? How would you like to help others?
Become More Independent
As children grow older, they need to become more independent. This means they need to do things more by themselves, like having a bath by themselves, going to school by themselves, and many more things like cleaning up by themselves. Homeschooling may have lots of fun things like ice-skating, horse-riding, and crochet classes, but it also takes A LOT of effort and independent learning. It means you have to be disciplined and make sure you do things on time so that you can do other things. All these things are important for your growth, so you can become the best version of you.
Get To Know You & Vice-Versa!
As you grow older, you will become busier. As you become busier, you have less time for others. Homeschooling will give us a better chance to understand each other and grow older together.
